In sickness and in hell.

I hate being sick. I hate it, hate it, hate it! First I thought it was an allergy (I don't know why because I've never had any) but yesterday I confirmed that after more than six months, a new record for me, I was sick again. A cold, the flu, a virus... Whatever it is, it's ruining my life. I can't concentrate on work, I can't go to class, I can't do yoga and all I want to do is eat and watch movies.

Today, during my bed rest, I watched Love and Other Drugs. I was expecting more from this movie. More drama or more comedy, I'm not really sure... Just more. I am in love with Jake Gyllenhaal and he does a great job portraying a pushy medical representative, and Anne Hathaway is beautiful even when wearing overalls, but still it felt too much like Sweet November but with Viagra.

Both the movie and my sickness made me think about needing someone to take care of you when sickness attacks, because it is hell to have to cook and walk to buy medicines and clean all the dirty tissues while liquid drips from your nose. It made me miss my mother a lot. And hope that when I don't have her I have a good husband that can make (or buy) me soup.
